Peek inside the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Travel Without Limits

In between exploring the east coast of Tasmania, cruising the waterways of Noosa, sampling the luxe life in Business Class on a Qantas A380, and the usual day-to-day craziness of the Jones household, I’ve been working hard with the Travel Without Limits team to bring the Spring/Summer 2025 issue to life!

Publishing Australia’s first (and only!) disability-specific magazine is a huge job: gathering stories from people with lived experience of travelling with a disability, assembling them into a magazine, sourcing images, fact checking, proof reading, proof reading again… And yet, every time I see the finished product, it all feels worth it.

This new issue is going to be sent off to the printer soon, but I just couldn’t wait to give you all a sneak peek at what’s coming. And if you subscribe right now, we’ll be able to squeeze you onto the mailing list so you can get the new issue hot off the presses!

New York State of mind

If I say New York, most people will immediately think of New York City, the bustling metropolis known for its world-famous landmarks, Broadway shows and fast-talking locals. Like many, I’ve been wowed by the Big Apple’s energy and attractions but there’s a world of adventures beyond the city limits. In fact, the city is the perfect launch pad for exploring all that New York State has to offer – check it out in our cover feature.

5 things you must do in Rotorua

If visiting a thermal pool is top of your Rotorua itinerary wish list, you’re not alone – that’s exactly what we did when we went, after all! – but it turns out there’s a lot more to this New Zealand region than bubbling mud and hissing thermal activity. Kimberly Graham shares her five favourite things to do with her family in Rotorua.

Belfast: a city of stories (and step-free surprises!)

Carrie-Ann Lightley was “surprised in all the best ways” by her visit to Belfast. The city has a complex history, but she found that today’s visitors receive a warm welcome, and thoughtful access is woven into many of its attractions, restaurants, and services.

Queensland’s Sunshine Coast offers accessible accommodation, fun activities for the whole family, and – best of all – no long-haul flights or volatile exchange rates eating into your travel budget.
