I do have a question. Have you heard how the airplanes are coming with their testing of the wheelchair seats? You mentioned that it was being worked on where a wheelchair user could stay in their chair and a regular seat could be adjusted for them. If there was no wheelchair the seat could stay as is and a non wheelchair user could sit there.

On occasion I encounter restrooms with doors that open to the outside. As a solution I carry a piece of rope [make a slipknot on one end to go over handle], or crochet eternity loop, which I can wear like a necklace doubled over–make a larger loop on the other end [cf: dog leach] to hold on to. When my wheelchair has cleared the treshhold, I can pull the door shut behind me. 🙂

Companion card can save you loads… we attend the Mundi Mundi Music Festival and they accept the card, its a huge saving. Village cinemas now can link to your on line account which makes booking so easy. Would love to hear some more places.
